Sometimes you have to take a stand!

This is a condensed version of the podcast hour that was posted by WINA.

Kirk Clyatt on the Schilling Show – March 18, 2015

Please Note: If you came here via Clyatt.net or one of my other associated sites for the links to work you may have to Right Click on the link and Open In A New Tab … if you came directly from WordPress, clicking on the link should work OK … please let me know about any issues you have and thanks for joining me … more to come soon, it has been an overwhelming week!

My transcribed comments from February 2nd are in the next post.

Here is what it looked like, the photo is from the Daily Progress;

15 2-2 Clyatt

I invite The Daily Progress and all other interested groups to cover what happened. If it can happen to me, could you be next? How much fear is too much fear in America? How many of our basic rights are we willing to give up for a paycheck?

If you’d like see what it looked like; here is the link;

Charlottesville City Council – February 2, 2015

I’m on at about an hour and forty-six minutes in.

If you’d just like to hear what I said that so upset NBC29;

My thanks to the Schilling Show for inviting me to appear on Wednesday March 18th, I loved it, but one reason I hesitate to listen to myself is I catch mistakes, near the beginning I said, “I was hoping that fear would be contagious,” unfortunately it is. What my brain thought I said, “I was hoping the COURAGE would be contagious.”

It also says how far we’ve come that my public coming out, at city council on Monday March 16th was not brought up until ~16:00 minutes in, (the first link at the top of the post) but still could that have been a factor in what happened?

While we have come a long way with LGBT rights … there is still a long way we need to go!

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen, you’re support means so much to me … I have no idea where this road is going to lead, but so far this has been exciting and who knows it may be become more than only gossip and make a real difference.

Coming up ASAP, I’ll have the transcript from Monday’s meeting when I informed council of the aftermath of my February appearance. I’m getting comments from so many sources that I’ll try to also get some of them consolidated for your review.

What gives me so much hope is that there has not been one negative comment … yet. Thank you so much, your support helps keep me going down this road!

The future is unwritten.
